This is an easy Korean-style chicken and rice dish you can make at home.
Sweet, savory, and slightly spicy—perfect with a bowl of rice.


Ingredients

  • 600g boneless chicken thigh
  • Rice cakes (tteok), optional
  • 2 green chilies (or any spicy chili)
  • Sesame seeds

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • Stevia, to taste (instead of sugar)
  • 2 tbsp Korean chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp allulose (instead of corn syrup)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

 


How to Make

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Cook the chicken skin-side down until golden and crispy. Flip once and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add rice cakes, pour in the sauce, add sliced chilies, and cook until everything is well coated.
  4. Finish with sesame seeds and serve over rice.
